Prices and payment
Do you charge a call-out fee?
Yes, from $129 for emergencies and $79 for booked visits. It covers the visit and the first half hour, and we tell you the full price before any work starts.
Are quotes free?
Yes, for booked work. Send the quote form or call, and we give you a price before anything is booked.
How do I pay?
By card, bank transfer or cash when the job is done. For bigger jobs we take a deposit before ordering parts.
Is your work guaranteed?
Every repair has a one-year guarantee on parts and labour. New installations follow the maker’s warranty as well.
Emergencies
What counts as an emergency?
Burst or leaking pipes, no water, an overflowing toilet, a blocked main drain or no hot water in winter. If in doubt, call us.
What should I do while I wait?
Turn off the water at the main stop valve. Our guide shows how to turn off your water.
Booking
How soon can you come?
Emergencies within the hour, day or night. Booked jobs usually the same or next working day.
Do you cover my area?
See our service areas, or call and ask. We often cover nearby towns too.
Do I need to be home?
For most jobs, yes, or someone who can let us in. For landlords and offices we can collect a key.
